Position Overview
Our programs represent our proof of concept for broader social change and the effective execution of our mission. The next phase of development at Visions of Science will require innovative thinking, and an intimate understanding of our communities to ensure effective initiatives are developed and implemented.
Elevate STEM Camps will be a fun and engaging summer camp focused on exposing youth in Grades 4 - 7 to immersive and hands-on STEM experiences, leadership development, and establishing strong, lasting relationships that will kick off the rest of our STEM Pathway!
As a Site Lead, you will be responsible for executing programming directly with participants and supervising a team of facilitators to implement innovative STEM-based initiatives and content that yield increased skill-based, knowledge, social emotional learning and leadership outcomes for children and youth in this pilot program.
We are looking for individuals who are confident working with low-income and racialized communities and have a strong command of facilitation. Individuals should be passionate about improving the lives of youth within communities. This position works alongside program coordinators and reports to the various project leads including program managers or directors depending on the initiative.
